1927 Quarter Eagle: Natural Coloration and Condition Census
The natural coloration ranges from bright rose-gold to a more subdued medium to deep green-gold. Pieces with attractive natural color are still available. The level of eye appeal is above average. Most higher grade 1927 Indian Head Quarter Eagles are well struck, have excellent color and luster and have fewer serious marks than other dates of this type.
To qualify for the Condition Census, a 1927 Indian Head Quarter Eagle must be Mint State-66.
