1893-CC Double Eagle: Circulated Availability and Mint State Rarity
The 1893-CC is more often found in circulated grades and can sometimes be found in the MS60 to MS61 range. It is moderately scarce in properly graded MS62 and rare in MS63, with less than 45 examples known. The finest known to me is a single MS64 graded by NGC. The one Saddle Ridge Hoard example was not originally graded mint-state by PCGS.
