Limited High-Grade Survivors and PCGS MS66 Finest Known

A few small groups of Uncirculated 1901-S double eagles have been found over the last few decades. Most of these grade in the MS60 to MS63 range. This date is scarce in MS64 with about 210 graded, and very rare in MS65, only about five seen. One MS66 has been graded by PCGS.
