1888-S Liberty Double Eagle Value & Rarity

The 1888-S is a common issue in grades up to an including MS61. It is scarce to very scarce in attractive MS63 to properly graded MS64 and is extremely rare in MS65, including the six MS64 coins in the Saddle Ridge Hoard. There are less than 110 known in MS64 at this time, and only four known in MS65.
