DIVERSIFICATION:

Protect and Grow Your Wealth with a Gold IRA

When it comes to financial diversification, it is well-documented that over the long-term, many precious metals coins and bars tend to steadily appreciate, and many times have outperformed almost every other kind of investment. The World Gold Council has numerous studies showing a portfolio diversified with gold outperforms those without gold. Since Jan. 1, 2000, gold is up 818% while the S&P index is only up 289% as of Oct. 1, 2024. This means a $110,000 purchase of gold in 2000 would be worth about a million dollars at the end of the third quarter of 2024. More recently, in 2024, gold and silver have more than doubled the performance of the Dow & S&P 500 indexes.

As of October 2024, Bank of America analysts do not see stocks rising as the Fed cuts rates. In fact, they see a selloff in the S&P 500 sooner rather than later, so Bank of America instructed investors to “do what central banks are doing ... buy gold,” just like we have been advising here for years. They also pointed out (as we did a month before) that, “Gold is now the second-largest reserve asset among all central bank reserves.” Citi, Goldman Sachs, along with Bank of America have also now significantly raised their 2025 price target for gold to nearly $3,000 or higher.

The national debt has a direct correlation with inflation and the price of gold and both are going up right now, according to the National Inflation Association. The United States has gained over $20 trillion of our total $35.4 trillion national debt in the past 16 fiscal years and nearly $11 trillion in red ink over the past five years. Imagine that! Debt was under $15 trillion 16 years ago, but we managed to more than double that debt under three presidents. This is another reason why you need to diversify your portfolio or IRA with gold coins and bars.

Many financial analysts routinely recommend a precious metals component to their clients as a strategy for portfolio diversification and appreciation.
